Podcast Episode #10 - Pete Chatmon on $$$

So after a veeeery long absence on the podcast scene to complete and promote The Shut Up and Shoot Documentary Guide, the Down and Dirty DV Podcast is back in full effect with all-new video episodes featuring more of the purely practical straight-up guerrilla tips and advice you've come to expect. You can check it out below or subscribe in iTunes to watch on your iPod and never miss a new episode or announcement.

I put up a highlight video from the Book Launch Benefit Party and an all new two-part episode in which my man, "Premium" director Pete Chatmon, will give you some real world tips on raising the money.

There are plenty of sources out there that will tell you the what's and how's of putting together a budget and an investor package, but Pete breaks down alot of the less tangible aspects of fundraising such as the mental and social aspects that are also required to convince perfect strangers to gamble small fortunes on you and your film.

Here's Part 1 of 2 of my video podcast interview with Pete to be followed by a longer printed excerpt of the same interview. (Note: The "Lighting Recipe"tm for this somewhat tricky interview set-up can be found on page 117 of The Shut Up and Shoot Documentary Guide.)
